The “Winged Goddess of Victory,” Nike, is one of the oldest Greek goddesses predating even the mighty Olympians. She serves as a symbol of strength, speed and most of all, victory. For my high fashion-shoot, I applied modern standards to this ancient archetype in order to create a modern iconic image that contemporary woman could identify with. This allows a positive form of feminist thought in regards to the change in cultural ideals regarding woman.
